Contact us
Questions, bug reports and requests for formats we do not yet support are all welcome. We read everything and usually reply within two to three working days.
Something is broken
Tell us the tool, the browser you used, and what the file was — format, rough size and dimensions. If you saw an error message, quoting it exactly saves a round of questions.
Privacy and your data
Questions about how files are handled, or a request to access or delete personal information. Our privacy policy covers most of it in detail first.
Copyright and legal
Copyright notices, takedown requests and other legal correspondence. Please include enough detail to identify the material and your authority to act.
Write to us
Fill this in and we will open your email app with the message ready to go. Nothing is sent until you press send there, so you can review it first — and you get a copy in your own sent folder.
Before you write
Asking whether your files are stored? They are not. Many tools never upload anything at all, and those that do discard the file the moment the result is returned. The privacy policy sets out exactly which tools run where.
A format is not supported? Some gaps are deliberate rather than oversights — HEIC cannot be written without patent-encumbered encoders, for instance. Ask anyway, since we would rather know what people need, but the about page explains the known limits.
Need a specific file size? The compressor takes an exact target in KB or MB rather than a quality percentage, which is usually what people are looking for when they get in touch about upload limits.
Common questions
How quickly will I get a reply?
Usually within two to three working days. This is a small independent project rather than a company with a support desk, so replies come from the people who build the tools. Bug reports with enough detail to reproduce the problem tend to get answered fastest, because they can be acted on immediately.
Can you recover a file I already processed?
No, and this is worth understanding rather than being disappointed by. Nothing is retained: browser-based tools never send your file anywhere, and uploads are discarded the instant the result is returned. There is no archive to search. Keep your own copy of anything important, and always work from a copy rather than your only original.
Should I attach the image I had trouble with?
Please do not, unless we specifically ask. We would rather not receive files we do not need, particularly personal photographs. Describing the format, rough file size and dimensions is almost always enough to identify the problem, and if we do need a sample we will say so and suggest something you are comfortable sharing.
How do I make a data or deletion request?
Email and we will respond within 30 days. In practice there is very little to act on, because we hold no accounts, no image archive and no advertising profiles of our own — requests normally concern short-lived server logs or an email you sent us. Your full rights are set out in the privacy policy.
Can I use these tools for commercial work?
Yes. Everything is free for personal and commercial use, with no watermarks, no attribution requirement and no limit on how many files you process. Output from your own images is entirely yours. The terms of service set out the details.
