IBPS (Institute of Banking Personnel Selection) requires a recent passport-size colour photograph in JPEG format with dimensions of 200×230 pixels and a file size between 20 KB and 50 KB. The photo must have a white background and be taken within the last three months. This specification is uniform across IBPS PO, IBPS Clerk, IBPS SO, IBPS RRB Officer Scale, and IBPS RRB Office Assistant.
IBPS, SBI, and RRB all use the same 200×230 px, 20–50 KB JPEG photo specification. If you are applying for multiple banking exams, you can reuse the same resized photo across IBPS PO, IBPS Clerk, SBI PO, SBI Clerk, and RRB NTPC applications, provided the photo was taken recently.
IBPS applications require two uploads: a passport photograph (200×230 px, 20–50 KB JPEG) and a scanned signature (140×60 px, 10–20 KB JPEG). Both must be clear and on white backgrounds. Prepare both files before starting your online application to avoid interruptions.
