Pinterest is a vertical-first platform. Taller pins take up more screen space in the feed, increasing visibility and engagement. The 2:3 aspect ratio (1000×1500 px) is Pinterest's recommended standard because it displays the full image without cropping and occupies the maximum allowed feed height.
