State Public Service Commissions (PSCs) across India require a recent passport-size colour photograph in JPEG format. The most commonly specified dimension is 180×240 pixels with a file size between 20 KB and 50 KB and a white background. This applies to BPSC, MPPSC, RPSC, KPSC, UPPSC, OPSC, APSC, HPSC, PPSC, and WBPSC among others. Always verify with the official notification.
While 180×240 px is the most common default, some state PSCs specify different dimensions. For example, KPSC and TNPSC may specify 200×230 px, while others may require 150×200 px. This tool presets 180×240 px but allows you to manually adjust the width and height in the editor to match any PSC's exact requirement.
Most State PSC online applications require two image uploads: a passport photograph and a scanned signature.
