State Bank of India requires a recent passport-size colour photograph in JPEG format with dimensions of 200×230 pixels and a file size between 20 KB and 50 KB. The photo must have a white background and be taken within the last three months. These specifications apply uniformly to SBI PO, SBI Clerk (Junior Associates), SBI SO, and SBI Apprentice recruitment applications.
SBI PO (Probationary Officer) and SBI Clerk applications both require identical photo specifications: 200×230 px JPEG, 20–50 KB, white background. SBI SO (Specialist Officer) also follows the same format. You can use the same resized photo across all three SBI examination applications as long as it was taken recently.
SBI applications require two uploads: a passport photograph (200×230 px, 20–50 KB JPEG) and a scanned signature (140×60 px, 10–20 KB JPEG). Both must be clear, on white backgrounds. The same 200×230 px photo specification is shared with IBPS PO, IBPS Clerk, RRB, and many other bank recruitment portals.
